The idea s to put the coloured surfaces of 16 wooden cubes together to reproduce patterns ranging from simple to complex16 coloured wood cubes in a suitable storage case. The 16 wooden cubes (sides 3cm long) with 8 differently coloured surfaces can be turned to make fantastic patterns. Two booklets full of attractive dsigns lead up from easier to harder ones. In the fist phase children copy simple patterns. Later it's the other way round, setting out patterns and then drawing them. Both booklets contain patterns for all ages: the complicated patterns can be an exciting challenge for adults too.In no time, children will be proudly presenting lots of patterns they’ve 'turned out' all by themselves.age: 3+
